Alittle scarping in the corners

Went ridding this weekend with the boys. The thing is....I had rockets all my life and now I got this "Nomad" for me & the old lady.
***So to say this has been a small change is a HUGE adjustment -LOL ****

Quick story --We were riding through the twisty's, up the mtns on Saturday, my boys are ahead of me on theirs rockets. They are going 80 to 100 mph around the corners... and than here comes me and my girl on the pig, at about 50 mph around the same corners... LOL --Than it happened...I heard scraping on the right side.

I was slowed down and pulled the bike up right and than got a big smack on my back from my girl. Saying "slow down", your not on the "duck" (Ducati) anymore. I laughed.

We finished the ride, pulled over, and I looked. Looks like a scraped the peg pretty good.

LOL --good times

Might try to save over the winter to buy a track 750cc or something --cant seem to get the "speed bug out of my system"

thanks -G-

Don't know how old you are since you don't list a birthday, but I can say that the years seem to slow a person down. Either the years or you get smarter. I have scraped my right floorboard one time. Nomads just aren't made for taking the twisties like a lot of other bikes.

It may be a bit tricky getting the twisty thing out of your system on any big cruiser.

I scraped my floorboard once. I hit it with the jack. Put a hell of a scrape in the side of it.

Running with the 80+mph crowd through the twisties on a Nomad....you might have gotten the wrong ride.
