Accoring to Snopes, it is true.

See this link:
http://search.atomz.com/search/?sp-q...-s=0&x=27&y=15

Bills like this rarely get through the process of sub-committee. It is intended to have fees on specific transactions while eventually eliminating income-tax. It was also speculated that it would pay-off the deficit.

I can tell you that nothing will pay off the deficit if politicians have control of the money. They'll always campaign on the their ability to "bring the free-money home" to their people. Exactly what has got us to the point where we are in this country.

If the U.S. government were in-charge of the Sahara Desert... there would soon be a shortage of sand!!!

Something to do with debt free America. A bill like that will never make it through. Our fearless leaders wouldn' t be able to waste our money if something like that became law.

Why not just reduce spending 1% every year ???? I know, that would take tough decisions and God know we didn't elect them for that.

This would end up being more than a 1% tax if passed. You would have a 1% tax on your paycheck deposit, 1% on payments. If you pay for travel and get reimbursed, you would again have a 1% tax going out and then going in. However, after further reading, it appears that it has minimal support.

The deficit can never be paid. It isn't possible. Dollars as we know them are basicly worthless paper, backed by nothing.

Gold is the only legal money, the only one, and there isn't enough gold ounces in the world to cover the deficit.

The American Govt went bankrupt in 33 or 35 I forget, when FDR made owning any gold, hence money illegal.

Silver was never ratified to be legal tender either and no paper script ever was. Congress can't by law create money either.

The whole deal is a scam that for 3 maybe 4 generations have been fooled.

What is is, is no different than if I say a spruce 2x4 is worth 5 million bucks.
Dollar bills only represent debt, and it is illegal to pay debt with debt.

So the so called deficit can never be paid, it's impossible.

If you like I can site the law.

Did you make that up? If so can I steal it?

I wrote to my congressman.
He sent a letter back, I was surprised.
He said he would remember my thoughts when it comes out of committee.

I did not make that up Mac. I cannot remember who said it, but it always stuck in my mind and it seemed appropriate at the time.

So... go ahead and steal it. The rule is... if you use it more than three times, then it's yours

It's funny but under the Sahara Desert there is a huge lake filled to over flowing of fresh water. really no joke. I love that phrase just the same.

If you ask me both parties are just out of touch, both are in la la land.

McCain is as dangerous as Obama, as is Romney, as is Gore, but i am not sure we will hever hear of Gore again. as is Bill and Hill ..... and more of their ilk.

In fact I think I could do a better job, not great maybe but better. I know I tawk funny, but no matter how bad that is I don't do it with a forked tonge, seeking power and greed.

Common news on Juno this moring when I dialed up.

Basicly we have all been taught a lie. The feds have been lying to us for 3 to 4 generations. and the feds are dead broke. They have been bankrupt for 40 years.

I find this out just tinkerin' around seeking a less expensive silver to hammer up.

I never owned so much as a necklace in gold.

I don't worry a bit about any bankers. I have grown all the food we need to feed 3 till sometime after next harvest. less meat, fish and fowel.

If I got all my way I would have all that now too, but I don't. Some of that swims, walks and flies near by from time to time. So I don't worry about that much either.

I am not fond of eatting plastics, papers, or even hard coin. But i ate lots of red oak saw dust yesterday. I would avoid that too if it were possible.

Have you heard about the "New and Improved $600 billion" stimulus they just spent? Although they have not publicized it and they are avoiding the words "Stimulus" like it was called Nancy Pelosi.......

But its still another $600 Billion spent by the same people knocking previous administrations for spending too much.

They have run out of rocks to throw I would think.... their glass house is cracked and crumbling
