Gremlin in my Nomad

Finished a ride Sunday in the rain, bike was running fine when I parked it. When I attempted to take advantage of what was most likely the last 70 degree day in VA for awhile and ride to work, the bike started fine but as soon as I put it in first and let out the clutch it died. I attempted several times and I was able to let the clutch out in neutral, but as soon as I put it in gear and let the clutch lever move out, even before the clutch engaged it would die. I left it out to sunbathe and when I got home from work, everything works properly once again. Did water get in something that I need to check?

My guess would be water shorting the side stand switch which dried out while you were at work.

Damn and I always thought a Gremlin was bigger than a Nomad.

holy cow, I would've never thought about the kickstand switch. You guys are awesome! Can't thank you enough. I feel a sick day coming on to check into that and take a test ride.

I agree with the kickstand switch, start looking there. It may just need a cleaning and a bit of lube.
