Duh!

I'm out on a ride in Vermont when I pull into a rest area to make a few shock adjustments. As I open the right side bag I drop the key down behind the bag. It gets wedged between the break rotor and the swing arm. F@%k! Can't reach it. Look around and find a 3 foot twig. Now I'm trying to fish the damm key out. After about 15 minutes of looking like a mentally challenged chimpanzee this guy asks me what was up and says " You know, if you roll the bike backwards the key will pop up and fall on the ground"........ DUH!!!!! Somewhere Bill Engvall has a sign with my name on it.

Sometimes it just takes a fresh pair of eyes to look at a problem and see a solution.

Is someone now in the market for the quick release bolts for your bags?

I was on Rt. 373/313 heading to Rt. 7A between Arlington and Manchester. There is a nice pull off by a river ( The Battenkill?).

I would like to switch the bags for the ones that come on the Vaquero. My old 1600 Nomad bags could fit my camera tripod and a small bag. I didn't know I could get quick release bolts for my bags. Might make shock adjustments easier.
