Motorcycles can be dangerous

I had one of those Duh…moments. While driving home in my truck on River Road the other day I see 3 bikes coming from the other direction. As always they get my attention, so I’m checking them out as they pass. Not sure what the 1st bike was but the second one looked to be a Vulcan Classic with a nice looking girl driving, OK now they really have my attention, as I watch her pass out of the corner of my eye I notice the last bike. Was that a Nomad? Got to check my mirror, yep it was a Nomad….. that was cool. Now back to what I was supposed to be doing, driving. Well dam if the guy in front of me has the gall to make a left turn right there in front of me, well of course with the traffic coming from the other direction he has to come to a complete stop. Didn’t he realize that I would be distracted by motorcycles, especially with a female driver, the nerve of some people. Well I got to check out my ABS, yep they work thank goodness. Stopped within a few feet of his back bumper . So just remember Motorcycles can be dangerous even when you’re not riding one ;).

Glad you're ok, jmax.

Aren't too many alibis for hitting someone from the rear.

Motorcycles can be dangerous

It is difficult to meet, follow or pass motorcycles without looking them over. I always check them out and especially if the rider is a female.

A good looking girl is one thing, but a good looking motorcycle is something special !!! LOL. Glad the road surface was dry and you weren't going too fast....Someone was looking out for you...Your guardian angel?

Motorcycles can be dangerous

Yep jmax, there is a blond some where close to where I live that rides a bobber, I think, not even sure of the color of the bike. But she wears Levis and knee high boots. I have seen her, always going the other way, about 6 times, she always waves and smiles. For an old fella that is distracting enough by itself. 1st time I passed her I pert near put the Nomad in the bayou at 60 in a 40 curve. Bikes
can be dangerous things.
Thanks for your time.
