Are you lost BD. Do you know what a tornado is. It's not when you feel the ground trembling that's an earthquake

We have to start dodging you lunatics in your "training" already? Geez man. ;)

Of course I'm out for this weekend. I'm gonna lay back and see what happens later.

Not sure what you mean by that unless you don't like bicycles on the road

So do we have a plan yet. It looks like rain for sure Friday night and most of Saturday.

Nightmare is on his way (as we speak) to Caddo Valley to check things out. He and Wanderer are going to have dinner this evening in Caddo.

I've been watching both weather.com and wunderground.com.

Weather.com has rain chances holding at Friday 30%, Saturday 40% and Sunday 30%.

wunderground.com has increased the rain chances. They are saying 50% chance for Friday, 70% chance for Saturday and 70% chance for Sunday.

While I don't mind riding in the rain, I only do it if I have to. From a safety standpoint, I try not to ride in the rain if I can help it. That being said, it's almost a given that if we go ahead with the rally for this weekend, we are certainly going to get wet and be stuck in fog in the mornings.

But, I'm going to wait and make my final decision this afternoon (Wednesday). I'm watching the forecasts and giving it all the benefit I can.

If Nightmare says it's on, Cheryl and I will make the trip with our bike on the trailer. We may ride or sit in the motel but we will be there. If he says postpone, then we will go somewhere and maybe do something else. We are standing by. :)

Why I don't ride in the rain? Trying to see thru wet eye glasses, face shield, and a windshield is nuts. Cars don't see us when the weather is perfect, then to add fog, wipers, no expectation of bikers, and slick streets, no thanks.

Well I am here and the weather forecast is the same, so I say let's postpone till a later date, the percentages are just to high. The ride here was nice sunny skies a decent temp, but even with that after about 50 miles I find myself shivering, with that being said I have no desire to ride in the cool weather and be wet also. Anyone who wants to come and make a go of it, feel free, maybe the weather will hold. Gene will be here and he says come on.

OK... I've tried to give it all the time I can. Weather forecasts for Caddo Valley haven't changed a bit since this morning. Still calling for 40-70% chance of rain for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So, I hate to say it, but for safety sake...I'm out.

I'll be cancelling my reservations. If any or all of you decide to travel to and from Caddo, please be safe.

We're out then. We have called the motel and canceled. Thanks for the effort Victor, and Gene. We looked forward to seeing folks.

Now I am looking for other options. BTW, Kerrville has 1200 bicycle event this weekend which may book all the motels.

Well I'm out too sometimes you just can't beat Mother Nature. Thanks Vic for all that you did. I doubt I'll make it when you reschedule but I'll be at the Antlers Rally. If anybody has an idea for the next 4 day let me know
