3rd Anniversary

Today, three years ago I bought my brand new 2006 Nomad.

It had been many long years since I had owned a motorcycle. Too many years to be sure. The usual; young kids and responsibilities that outweighed my desires.

As for now, I plan to ride until it's physically impossible.

Ride baby, ride and don't look back. . .don't wanna see what's trying to catch up!

This rider is approaching his 65th birthday and is looking forward to at least 5 more years of riding...might have to go to a lighter bike later in life and that Spyder looks interesting but for the time being I plan many more miles on the Nomad....

Bob, keep riding till you can't hold it up any more with your own legs, then trike it!

Yellow Jacket, congrats. I am 65 now and started riding when I was 18. I have never been without a motorcycle. With a wife and three kids there were a lot of year that I didn't ride but a few miles (like less than 3K) but I was always ready even for a short to the store run. Now that I am retired my time is freere and with good friends, a son, and a brother riding we are having the best of the times. My Idol is my good friend (who is 79) and I have always hoped to be as able as he when it comes to riding. Last year I put in on 8K on several trips but plan on doing better this year.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

It's been just over a year that I got my used 2006 Nomad and got back into motorcycles. I hadn't ridden for twenty years. You are only as old as you feel. Motorcycling will keep you "young"...a lot younger than the "old" farts who are the same age. I'm 56 and expect to ride at least into my 70's and beyond so long as I can maintain my ability.

Keep on riding !

Congratulations Bob; and may you have many, many safe and enjoyable miles ahead of you yet.

(My wife has an uncle that still rides and he is 82 -- believe it or not. He just rode his bike to a recent family (circus) reunion. I was impressed.)
