Is it the dog days of summer or the moon tugging at our brains?
No doubt, many of you have noticed that posts have gotten a little heated on certain subjects on the forum as of late. The thread about Dan's ticket is one such area and the other is in the Garage area where poking fun has caused some sore feelings. Many of you are fairly new members here on the KawaNOW Forum and so you may not really know how I feel about disagreements on the forum. The older members know, but I thought I'd reinterate for the sake of trying to clear things up. I take the environment you log into to gain knowledge about your Nomad VERY SERIOUSLY. I pride myself on providing the best forum that I can, to help you in all areas of the Nomad. It's been that way since day one and will continue to be that way until the end arrives for all of us. And, I think that's one reason why we've grown so much over the past two years. Be rest assured that whatever issue or person get's in the way of that goal will be dealt with quickly. I have no problem with banning anyone from the forum if they are bent on causing problems. I've done it before and I'm sure I'll do it again. But, keep in mind that I will always do my best to provide you a safe and informative area to log into. I think the main thing we need to practice here is that anyone that frequents this forum CANNOT take things seriously or personally. That is the golden rule here at KawaNOW. I allow everyone the opportunity to express their feelings about a subject. I allow kidding and some levity to be portayed in posts. And, I allow thread hijacking. This is where the subject of a thread might change temporarily. But, I will not allow negative posts that are meant to cause harm or trouble for the whole forum. All of us have to understand that we may have the right to express our feelings, but it's HOW those feelings are portrayed in a post that makes the difference. Bottom line.....Think about what you are going to say before saying it and don't take things personal. And relax.....believe it or not, you are among friends. Trip

I'm holding out for a free Nomad. Who was it that came up with that lame-brain idea?

Trip, thanks for throwing the anchor out and stopping this forum from becoming like so many others. This is the only forum I have ever been on that everyone gets along like one big happy family. Sure there'll be a bump from time to time, but that's normal. I do enjoy this site, the people, the knowledge, and the common love of a great bike.

Yeah, you're right, I just got a little heated on Dan's thread because some took my opinions the wrong way.. But if someone attacks me, look out. Sincerely, Jamie
