I got a set from John at the SE rally. I have to admit that they are a LOT better then the leather set I had before!
One problem.... With the heat and humidity we have here in Georgia I found that I couldn't keep them on the bike when the temp was in the high 90's!
But as the temp drops then they will go back on the bike. The fitting was exalent and it keeps the feet drier then anything I have used so far.

I keep a few of his cards with the bike to give others who like them some info on how to get a pair for their own bike.

Check for your name in the KawaNow members at the top the page, if you have one it will be there. If not you have to ask Trip to get one for you.

I had the same thing. I joined in 07 and was sure I had signed up for both? But my name was not on the roaster. I did sign up and Trip gave me my number which is why mine is so recent. ::)
But no biggie.

I've been looking at those lowers too, I just was wondering how they will be in the hot weather as my soft homemade one's keep a lot of heat towards MY lowers...

They look well made and look good on the ones' on the website. Another MOD maybe to start the riding season with

Canada ....... Heat ??? LOL< I live in Florida and the water cooled engine is cool compared to the air cooled Harleys. My friend has a Road Glide, and he always complains about the heat off the engine off HD

I'm buying them also, and plan on keeping them on year round, cause in the summer we get allot of rain down here, and I hate having wet lower legs just from a light sprinkle on the ground.

I heard there also easy to remove and install, somone that has them might be able to help with that :)

funny!! you laugh I take it and you might think Canada doesn't get hot. I could take you places that would fry your brain at the right time of year.
I'm not sure if you've ever been up here or not but I laugh when you say it rains in Florida. I'm sure it does rain at times. Come on up to the "wet coast" and I'll show you rain!! I remember frt. pages of newspapers claiming record rain falls of biblical proportions. Like 40 days and 40 nights. I'm not kidding either. This is a real rain forest. Right now we are having record rain falls with a lot of flooding. But the ground is such that the drainage works well.
I'm sure you beat the heck out of us with the amt. of sunshine you get though.

I hear ya. Yeh we do get sunshine, lots, lol

Matter of fact, I'm heading out now to get the boat, and go off shore for a couple of hours fishing with the wife. Weather is around 70 today, and less then 5mph

Were planning a trip withen a year to see Canada, I heard its beautiful !

In a few weeks when I get my member #, I'll be ordering a set of these lowers, they look great

If you're coming up to Canada, try to get up to BC. {"the best place on earth"} and if you do be sure to give me a heads up and we'll hook up.
I'd like to have a set of lowers but I'm not sure I want to do the on and off thing if it's hot.

I may order a set of the lowers as well, just have to check my MOD fund
And if your planning a trip to see CANADA well, you better make it a LONG vacation to see CANADA..
Seriously decide on a destination (province) and go I'm sure you will like your trip. But from Florida, depending on HOW you are travelling, the EAST coast (Maritimes) or Quebec/Ontario will be your shortest ROAD trips. Florida to lower Ontario by Great Lakes is just about 24 hours (many snow birds flock there every winter, so I do know the distances and times to drive etc.) So a good 2 days travel each way is normal for a ROAD TRIP. By air, different story. I'd like to get out to BC too on a road trip someday, but I'd have to take 2 weeks as it's a good 3-4 days out there (and not RIDING NON STOP all day) and back again.

Do I detect a little bit of our Canadian accent in your post Kris??? eh!
LOL, LMAO

But in answer to your statement/question. That's for sure. Hot! I'll show you hot!! How about the prairies,.... maybe somewhere in the bald headed flat lands of Sask. or Manitoba. And really no offence to any members ....that lived in,.... living in, ...or born there. I'm sure you'd be the first to agree that "hot!!", just might not cover it.

Eh !!

Hey everyone is welcome to visit. Maybe start think'in about next summer. I'd like to seriously have a west coast rally. Two weeks is noth'in.
