speakers
so I'm looking to get a batwing and lower fairings for my 06 Vulcan nomad but I would like to know how to keep the speakers from having the feed back sound from being generated, other wise I don't think I will be buying the batwing or fairings. Any help with this would be great

What do you mean by feed back sound?

I've heard some bikes that have aftermarket systems have some type of feedback or winding sound coming from the speakers and it gets bad when the throttle is twisted. I think it's caused by the bikes power source but I'm not sure about how to fix this. is there some type of filter that can fix this or is this an issue with older bikes?

I think he means that buzzing or humming sound associated with amateur installs. The pitch gets higher as the revs go up.
Duo if this is what you mean, you need not worry. That sound is generated by your source or speaker wires being to close to the power wiresto the head unit. A long time ago people would run amp wires and speaker wires down the same side of a vehicle and they are not shielded, hence the problem. Hope this helps. |

Feedback usually involves a microphone. You are talking about electrical interference or "noise". I added a fairing and stereo to my 2007 Nomad and didn't have any issues with electrical interference.
