Ricky, he is a well seasoned rider who has seen it all, and none of us know how to make a Nomad look so good that it would be the nicest on the net.

Topcop, Welcome to KawaNOW.

I just came to the forum because I just found it. The motorcycle listed is not even mine. It belongs to a good friend. I told him it looks like a pretty good forum based on what I have read here and maybe a way I can help my friend sell a really nice motorcycle. If anyone does not like what I posted then sorry to offend anyone. I didn't know this was a touchy -feelie group. That's just the way I roll. Happy Trails....
topcop, If you are still with us.
You should have realized that we are people from all walks of life. And that we all have different ideas for the ultimate Nomad. We all have photos posted of our bikes. I figured at first, that being new here you didn't know better. But after thinking it through I decided that with your age and worldly experience, you should have know to write your post with some thought put into it, rather than off the cuff.
If we slam or tickle someone on here, we have a little history with that person. In this case, "I don't care, that's just the way I roll. Happy Trails". Doesn't do anything for me.

Top cop,
Everyone is welcome here and normally when some one joins they introduce themselves in the new members section first. When your first post is to sell a bike folks on any forum will look at that as, you want to sell the bike you don't really want to be part of us, and so you are bound to get some comments you did not bargain for. If you have been following the forum as you suggest you have, then you would know these comments are made in good fun. Some folks on here have far more riding and mechanical experience than you, some far less, but we try not to judge. If you perceive the comments as touchie feelie then so be it, you are still welcome, but that's they way we roll.

HaHa, just found this one. . .

Looks like TopCop got scared off in a single post with a "See Ya" follow up. Or since he has more ride exp. than anyone on this forum. . . He is in his 90's and forgot how to log in ? ? ?

Maybe he shouldn't refer to himself as "TOP COP" if he is so fragile!

I wonder if the Electra Glide was provided by the "Department" for being Top Cop?

(Not if the rest of his investigations get as much attention as this one did)

He checked into this site Today 10:30 AM so he is still around.
I guess he doesn't want to talk to us anymore.
You guys should be ashamed for treating a newbie like that.
I would never scare off a new member.
