All you should need to tell the dealer or whoever is that you need a 170 mainjet, for whatever brand of carb it is. Im assuming its either a Mikuni or a Keihin carb, and they should have them.

http://www.dynojet.com/jetkits/jetassortment.aspx Call the 800 number and place your order! Rinading I don't think the kawa dealers carry the larger jets.Harley shops do but you have to get a insert or something because the threads are different even though they both use the keihin carb

By looking at it and reading the name on it. They are stamped somewhere on the carb body. Also there may or may not be a series number or small metal tag on it this will give you some info as well. Mainjets are usually very easy to get at most bike shops, especially a performance shop.

Carburetor: Keihin CVK 40mm

This is what is listed under "Kawasaki Nomad Specifications" found as a "yellow-link" at the top of each page... ;)

Sherms website: http://www.mobbley.com/category/27071897
is where I got my 170 main jet and 46 pilot jet when I did my Coyote kit modification (pictures below were before mod). I didn't want to mess with the carb, so after I finished with the rest of the mod, I took it to the dealer to have the guy there do the jet work. After doing the mod, the bike ran like crap before they put in the larger jets. Wouldn't go over 45mph all the way to the shop. Once those new jets were in, it ran great!

You might want to give it a few more days. I can't remember the time-frame it took to receive mine from Sherms, but it did finally come. Not positive, but I think you may be able to get a 170 jet for these carbs from a Harley dealer. Seems like I read that somewhere. Good luck.
