Below freezing this morning

I started last cold season on my Classic: smaller windshield and no lowers. Below 40 degrees was too cold for chaps.

At 30 degrees, this season starts with Nomad with lowers, crash guard chaps, Gerbing heated jacket liner and glove liners, and my leather jacket. Today, the chaps were fine (with just a hint of cold in those special, unchapped areas).

I'm guessing the chaps will work down to about 25, then I'll start using my quilted overalls. Further research will determine when I'll don my Tourmaster weather jacket as a wind-resistant over-layer.

Gerbing heats well. When traffic began stop and go, I had to turn down the heat on the jacket liner rather quickly.

I can deal with that!
