Hiya's from Central AR

Just purchased a 06' Diablo Black Nomad, and really lovn' the smooth ride. Transitioning from an older Wing, so far so good, except a little off balance still with the forward controls. Just put on a Grasshopper backrest, (came in the mail today!). So far the handlebars seem a little too low, but other than that really nice ride.

Been reading several posts here the last few weeks, and really appreciate all of the helpful information. Really like the low rev grunt the 1600 has vs the 1100gw. Also seem the speedo is off to me, but then again, I'm not used to going 70mph at such a low rpm.

If you feel that the bars are too low you might consider getting some risers.

Welcome from North Dakota! Yep, your speedo is incorrect. Pretty much standard issue. Mine shows 75 mph when actually traveling 70 mph.
