I'd bet he's dead. If it was health, he'd call 911. May be he was robbed by a hooker and her pimp, and it went bad, but more likely it was someone that wanted the bike? I just don't see how he can leave without his ID and other stuff willingly. I wonder if the hotel has video. A lot businesses do now and cops will check video from surrounding businesses to see if a perp shows up on it. Then again, it's it's barney fife, we may never know what happened.

Some arsehole with a gun probably took this poor bastards life. How does that sit with you.If he had a gun he could have shot back.If the other fuckers never had guns, they would'nt have robbed him in the first place.

Not true. Strong arm and knife based robberies instead. The tool doesn't commit the crime, nor does it foment crime. People adapt to their circumstances and criminals do too.

While you are less likely to be shot to death in the UK, you are much more likely to be a victim of crime and even violent crimes. Rape rate is over double the US.

Ok, we just allow the good blokes to have weapons,so they can shoot the bad ones. That way all the criminals can be shot, and everyone is safe. There seems to be a lack of judgment,or accountability of it, as to who the good blokes are.I might appear to have a simplistic view of America culture, can you help me out at all mate.

I just hit that link, and i choose not to believe it.Like any other opinion poll,it has a slant. My everyday experience is my guide. You should trust your own judgement too mate.

Mick, Mick, Mick. With over 2500 posts to your credit on this forum, I would think you'd know better than to get into a debate over guns on this predominately American forum!

Ask Tony Martin how it worked out for him. Here, he would have been let go.

My point is that yes, you have less gun homicides that we do, a lot less, but other crime rates are higher, particularly for violent crimes like assault and rape, robbery too and I see burglary and fraud are higher too. When Looking at Australia and Canada, this pattern remains, although they have lower crime rates than the UK does. What's interesting in the case of the UK and I think Australia is a higher drug rates/crimes. The other thing with US gun deaths, there's usually a lot lumped in, like suicides, justified shootings and police shootings. A bigger problem in the US is drunk driving deaths and the biggest cause of unnatural death is death by medical professionals mistakes, by a huge margin.

Point taken mate. And i am just having a jab.But i did'nt rob the poor bastard of his bike, and possibly his life, at gunpoint. And i dont reckon, despite all the other arguments, that an unarmed bloke did eitther.

If it was robbery, kidnapping, or murder, it probably is more than one suspect. Pretty hard to shot a guy and take his bike along with his body, or force him against his will to either drive or ride on the back of the bike. I bet he went to his bike and surprised a couple of guys trying to load the bike into a van.
Poor bugger.

Poor bugger.

A bit of lateral thinking. The bloke has ditched his Harley, along with his identity. And rode off on a Nomad.
