Or.....if your like me, leave it alone, ride your bike and enjoy. The bike performs pretty good out of the box...

Pretty good, yes.
But way better is possible.

Imagine having a four cylinder car with one of the plug leads removed. That is how your bike is performing now.

Ivans reflash attaches the fourth plug lead.

Sending my ECU to Ivan

OK - I'm going for it. I'm putting a lot of faith in all of these positive reviews. This feels like a trust fall.

In Ivan I trust.....

I can tell you nearly 7000 miles later. The ECU flash is the best thing you can do for the bike.

Couldn't agree more! I had it on my last bike(Yamaha Stryker) and I did my research before buying the vaquero so I went straight home from dealer and pulled the ECU out. best thing for any bike if its available.

It will be a year this coming April since I had the Ivan re-flash done. It is night and day difference the way my runs, cooler, smoother, more passing power, and no backfires whatsoever! Well worth the money as he lifts all the EPA related restrictions off the unit and opens everything up and more. I even get better fuel economy since having this done. I also have the Rac'n Ray throttle mod in sync with the flash on a set of Kuryakyn iso grips and it all works together superbly. I have mine setup with the Roaring Toyz air open air kit and Freedom performance 2-1 combat pipe and she runs like a tiger.

Although having my Voyager 1700 for only a few weeks, I did the Ivan reflash and love it! If you are going to keep the bike, do the Ivan reflash.

Get Ivanized it is worth it and I would bet if you ever want to sell bike it will sell faster and for more money. If there was two things I ever did to my bike that I would do right away is Ivanized and Russel Day Long Seat.
