tail light bulb for 1600 Nomad

Does anyone have a part # for a tail light bulb for a 1600 Nomad? I was riding home last night, and a friend who was following on his bike pulled up along side me and told me I had no brake light or tail light.

bummer.

Anyway, I was hoping to avoid the Kawasaki price tag and just get something from an auto parts store.

thanks

Don't listen to Mr. Fixit...

It's a standard 1157. Or if you want a brighter light, use a 2357. They are identical, the 2357 is brighter.

thanks - I couldn't find an 1152, I figured that had to be a typo...

I probably have some 1157's lying around somewhere. My Hyundai uses them, and I have to change them regularly.

You want a standard 1157 dual filament bulb. Also check out the 2357

Check out Sylvannia Silverstar H4 direct replacement plug in; nice white light, brighter than stock, I usually run my hi beam during the day and I get two or three seasons out of the bulb and then need to replace it.

I put a set of 2357LL back there and they lit it up like Christmas. All over eBay like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/2357LL-Minia...item20b0bec2b6

I jacked up my running lamps which are apparently wired into the same circuit and had to go to an LED socket ready from Custom Dynamics at http://www.customdynamics.com/motorcycle_led_bulbs.htm

They are just as bright and less amps. problem solved.
