Definitely pretty sweet. My bike is not even two years old yet and I have given the wife the official notice that I might be "needing" to trade in this summer.

Know what would be real nice? a frankenbike. combo of the luxury and smooth ride of the nomad but with the rocket III 2400cc

Same here, with one exception - smaller dimensions and shorter distances to handlebar and footboards - not desirable at 6'6" (the test rider was 8 inches shorter than me). I need as much room and space as I can possibly get, especially if a Mustang seat would be needed at one point, which I'm sure it will (for me).

I have to admit these are sounding pretty good. I'd love the brakes, lights, passenger backrest and trunk and cruise control. More power.........yeah, I'll take that too. Wish it came in green and silver!

Mustang seat isn't a good choice for tall people. It puts you higher and more forward than stock.

ponch, I don't feel that really - if anything, my riding angle is more natural now and I am way more comfy with the Mustang than withtout - I'm glad I bought it after seeking opinions here not too long ago ;)

Nevermind on my previous statement. Local dealer got one and gave me a call yesterday, so I went to go see it. UGLY. I do not want one of them. The gap between bags and frame were way to large. The bags seems narrower than current ones and I am pretty sure that the Chinese food containers that currently just barely fit, will not fit into the new bags without spilling. New seat goes way too far up and was not as comfortable to sit on. ONLY good thing I enjoyed about it was the new back end and lighting.

i looked at the new nomad in red and cream very nice bike also rode it motor is very strong and alot less noise.seat was very comfortable for short ride may be different on long ride .lots of new details if you start looking . did not like the flat finish on frame. overall very nice bike if you look close there are alot of detail changes .

I am 6'5 and over 300, and I can tell you with the mustang I feel like I am sitting on the tank compared to the stock seat. I still get butt burn in less than 100 miles. A 500 mile seat it will never be for me. I might send it to Russell this winter or do something creative myself. For me, it's not what I thought it would be.

I'm only 5ft 10 1/2 in and shrinking. (Age does that). My 2007 leftover that I now have almost a yr, and 14,000 plus miles, that I bought for $4,000 less, and fits me like a glove, will stay with me for awhile.

ponch, that's what I mean when I say "No two riders are alike". There is no one-seat-fits-all. I think the Day-Long, which is specially made for the buyer, might possibly be the most comfortable (if most expensive) out there.
