New helmet? - Page 3

I made the mistake of trying on an Arai helmet in Lakeland, FL at the Kaw dealer there...Oh my gosh! What a great helmet! It was like a glove and didn't weigh much at all. If I had the $$, I'd have one in a second.

Dear Friends

What I have listened is that the helmets should be changed every 5 years and after some strong blow.

I have understood that there are differences among what demands the DOT and the European norm.

Safety ride for all

Those are the recommended changing situations. Any strong blow can damage the integrity of the helmet.
