Progressive shocks

What model of progressive shocks do you guys recommend for the rear suspension on a 1600? There seems to be several models that would work. Would any 12.5" be alright?

Any shock that you can get to fit the eyelets will work. I know some guys have had to change the bushings so they fit the Nomad studs.

I had 440HD's. The shocks come with the bushings to mount them on your 1600. Go to gadget's cite and read the write up on how to mount the top so they will not bind.

Take it from a guy who knows it will beat you to death unless you do this.
