What's required to "sign up" for the NC group?

Might be a redundant question, but I have not read every thread on the groups section of the forum. Would love to get involved, and meet/ride with some of the great people of my region. Really impressed with this forum and the people on it. I was a member with the SuperMagna Owners Group forums, and it left a bad impression on me. A lot of cliques on the forum, and every group ride was on the east coast. Bad enough it's a rare bike, but you'd think it would have been a tight knit group. Thanks for any reply!
