I finally have some time to introduce myself. I bought a 2005 VN1600 last summer and as a winter project I decided to personalize it. My inquiries on how to dismantle the bike brought me to this site. You guys and gals rock with all the useful information you have gathered over the years and posted

. My chrome suppliers were found here as well as the how-to-do items. My bike was the blue and silver but it is now 2014 Cadillac red. The parts are presently having some air brush designs added. Once everything is completed I hope to post some more before and after picks. Thanks everyone for the help. Now back to shoveling this white crap from up north... Cheers!
