Spotted: Lady Nomad Rider

I had the good fortune to go to Galveston today for work, and on the way, I ran upon a group of four Women taking a ride along Hwy. 146. The lead rider was on a beautiful black Nomad. Man, that just floats my boat (forgive the pun) seeing a good looking blond on a big black Nomad. If it was you and you're here, say howdy.

Your tailgunner should be warned to look a little more carefully before executing lane changes and not just follow the leader. Fortunately it was me in the lane next to you guys and not your average cager. The girl in he orange chase vehicle was great. Thanks to her for her courtesy.

Wish I was there on my bike instead in the work van, and had my fishing gear. It could have been the perfect day, not a cloud in the sky, light wind, and green water as far as I could see.

Hope ya'll had a good ride!

I have never seen a lady solo on a Nomad. I have seen a few on Harley's but that is about it.

Try a VROC event. There are plenty of female Nomad riders.

Not a lot of us ride Nomads, most women ride Classics or smaller. It takes a bit more experience and guts for most women to ride a 900 pound cruiser. Not that a Nomad is harder to ride than a smaller motorcycle, it's just a matter of getting used to the size and weight.
