NCR 2012 Rally Brochure

UPDATED MAY 2ND, 2012

Brochure includes:

"Pre-Rally-Ride" to the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa, Iowa on June 7th.
Rally route maps (back pages).

Download and print the brochure if you want more details of the rally.

Our 2012 rally is dedicated as the Melody Marchbanks Memorial Ride in honor of our great friend who passed-away in December 2011, and will be dearly missed at our rally.

It makes me want to go to the rally.
Sounds like it is going to be a fun, well thought out ride that has a lot of preparation.

Yeah... I did the brochure. That area is a great area to ride! Certainly there are other areas in the U.S. that have more... but this area isn't anyplace to sneeze at.

Notice I left-out the pictures of the bean-fields?

As you can see... this area offers some great riding. Most are surprised to discover how many hills, valleys, and bluffs there are in this region -- even those that live in the Midwest.

If you retire before June... come join us!

Yes it does Scott.
The more I try to do on this thing the more I screw it up.
It works the same way with my bike. That is why I take the bike to the dealer for any thing more than oil change.

Didn't realize you were from Lewistown (pronounced Lewiston -- just so you know I know where you are from!).

Lewistown -- home of Dickson Mounds -- or what they have allowed to remain of it.

You should try to make it. You are not that far from Savanna to start.

Great looking brochure. Wish I could make it to the rally. Our school kids won't even been finished by then. Stay safe and have a great time!

LOL Yep Lewiston but I actually have got in the habit always saying Lewistown though or people spell it wrong. Right now the powers that be at work have a quarterly meeting scheduled that week but my fingers are crossed that it might change. I have been up to Savanna / Sebula several times on the bike and actually make it up close to there for work but not on the bike. For those that have never been in the area it is a nice area and not the typical flat praire.

Do what you can to make it. If you haven't been north of Dubuque, Iowa along the Mississippi (either side) I believe you'll find it makes Savanna look flat...

The prettiest section of the GRR from the headwaters down to Hannibal, MO on both sides of the river is the Iowa stretch from Marquette to Lansing on the Iowa side. The best view of the Mississippi is the city park overview of the river.

I've ridden both sides of the river on that whole stretch many, many times, and always am drawn back to that stretch of the GRR and the overview at Lansing.
