Does anyone know if these risers will fit?

Will either of these risers fit a 1600 Nomad?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Kawas...rkparms=65%3A2|39%3A1|240%3A1318

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamah...rkparms=65%3A2|39%3A1|240%3A1318

I know that these particular risers are made for 7/8" bars, but the seller also has 1". My real question is if the pullback is going to be an issue? Thanks in advance!

Don't be surprised if you dont have to replace cables with those risers. Aeromach makes a 4-1/2" and chuckster makes some too those are your 2 best bets unless you eant to change lines and cables. Also look into the scootworks and Phatt II's. All those are ones you keep stock cables with, I do believe.

I don't want to swap the cables.

Anyone with hands on experience with these? To me, they look very similar in size to the aeromach risers, but half the price. If these don't work, I'll probably end up machining my own set.

Unless I am reading the auction wrong, these will not fit.

Fitment: All Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha cruisers with 7/8" bar diameter

The Nomad has 1" bars.

Yes I stated in the first question that the seller also has these exact same risers for a 1" bar.

I'm only concerned with the risers hitting the back of the speedo housing.

Sorry, missed that in the original... :-[

What I can add though is that the Aeromach come very close on the Nomad to the speedo cowling, if these are at all different they likely will hit.

Judging from the pic I would say they will fit.
The pull back doesn't look as as far back as the Phat 2's I have and mine just touch my speedo bezel at full lock.
That being said, with the 5 1/2" rise I think you will have to change your cables. At the very least you will have to re-route them.

They are not supposed to. They come with two mounting holes. One will give you more pull back than the other. I installed mine for the most pull back I could get. Therefore they just touch the bezel at full lock. Not a problem for me.

Those risers hit my speedo big time on my 1500. Went with Phat IIs using the offset hole.

when you install them, just swing the handlebars left-right. if you end up with a dent in each side of the nacelle(like Beezer) then it don't fit. you must aquit. :-)

With the Phat II's, you might loosen the speedo housing, then push it rearward as far as it will go (not much), then tighten the housing back down while applying the rearward pressure. I don't have any problem with the Phat II's hitting the housing. They were easy to install too. (My bike is an '06.) BnG
