New paint

Promised to post new paint pics... here they be.

It is hard to get the full affect from pictures but you can see on the close-ups of the tank how in one picture it is blue and in the next it is green. Kinda stagnant in a picture but in person it shifts colors around when you walk around the bike.

Looks REALLY GOOD!!!!!! Nothing like the pride in knowing "I did that". Way to go.

I do have 1 question, what is that on the left side, at the rear of the transmission going towards the left muffler?

Sweet paint job! I am very envious of people who have that kind of artistic talent.

Thanks to everyone ! If ya get this way and have a beer with me I can show you all the runs/flaws... I know EXACTLY where each one is :) :) :)

VulcanE... that is just a stock pretty piece that would have been on the bike with stock exhaust to cover the ugly goat bladder. The instructions said to take it off but I didn't like the hole it left so I put it back on.

Thanks for reminding me... I was about to think I had nothing else to add to my bike... however... I saw a guy a few years back that took that piece out and replaced it with an "HD tool box". If you search on that term in e-bay you will see a kidney shaped, chrome lid, lockable box. It fits quite well in that hole and performs a function unlike that Kawasaki
piece.

Here is one... although it is not in the best shape..

I had been thinkin on that same box. I saw one on a 1600 classic and it looked good, filled up that empty place. I just don't know if it will work with the baggars cross over pipe.

Good job.
How long did it take you?
How much did it all cost, excluding the cost of your labor of course? :)

Good point...now that you mention it... it may have been a classic I saw it on as well.
