Cobra lightbar on ebay for $207 delivered. Item number 280273525108. Best price I've seen, thought I'd pass it along--for 2005 and up.

They had 50 of them.

Quick question, is the 05-UP KAWASAKI VULCAN VN1600D a Nomad? Because the auction doesn't say Nomad anywhere in it. Just want to make sure. (yes, I'm paranoid ;))

And for you guys in Canada, Princess Auto has 55W H3 halagen driving lamps on sale for $4.99 each. They come in a black metal housing, but I took the lamp out of the housing and installed it into my chrome Fire & Steel housings, they fit good and give off a lot more light. Ive used them for three nights now and am quite pleased with them. I think they are on sale until next week.

A VN1600D is indeed a Nomad. VN1600B = Mean Streak, VN1600A = Classic.

Good deal. I guess these price drops are to be expected from the vendors since the 2009 Nomad is a model change. Makes me wonder if the windshield bracket on the 09 Nomad is different than the previous years, if so the vendors are trying to unload them now.

These guys are quick--ordered on the 7th and got the lightbar today. Just amazing. Hope to install this weekend but we'll see. I would recommend.

I have the cobra light bar and it was very easy to install. I like it.

The only thing that I have experienced and did not like about it was the OEM light bulbs. The original bulb only required a power wire. I had to replace one that burned out in a very short time of use. I ordered two bulbs so that I would have a spare and learned that the replacement bulb required its own ground wiring. AND...the replacement was brighter than the one that came installed on the light bar. SO, I ended up changing both of them.

It comes with the lights and bar, you have to reconnect your existing turn/running lights.

You're a little far away, but it could be in the cards. Just found out this morning that our drummer is going in for a double knee replacement on Oct. 27th. He played fine on our last job, he just couldn't walk afterward, tough to pack up.

Wow, I ordered on Wednesday, and they arrived today. And I chose the $12 shipping, not the faster $15 shipping. Don't spend the extra $3 for shipping! :) Probably won't have time to install for a few weeks though. :(
