10/15 BRP fall colors ride

Sort of a spur of the moment decision, but Sherri and I are riding the BRP for the fall leaves tomorrow. Staying at the Stations Inn Motorcycle Resort tonight in Laurel Springs right on the Parkway and heading south tomorrow morning to check out the fall colors. Probably do breakfast in Boone at the Daniel Boone in or something similar. Anyone interested in meeting up, give me a call 336-312-2149.

Todd

dick, just saw your thread about the southern end...would like to try to make it that way too...this is my son's bye week from football so we are having to do it quick and just decided an hour or so ago to do this one.

Good grief, Todd. I hate it but I'm swamped at work and have to work this weekend. Y'all enjoy yourselves!

Todd, little notice and I would have joined you.

Unlike my good friend KawHead, I would have actually showed up.;)

I showed up in Helen and drank a half cooler of beer and took a extra six pack so I could make it back to the hard stuff in the room didn't I?

Well, they was 7 left so I only took 6. I didn't want to be greedy.

I ask you, Is that so wrong? I think NOT!

Heaven forbid they sit in the cooler to long and spoil!

What did the colors look like? I have wanted to get up there at the right time about the last 5 years but it never works out. I thought about doing that run next weekend if our racing doesn't happen. I'm afraid the incoming cold front is going to stop my riding for long distances that weekend. May have to go in the 4 wheeler.

You need to get it this weekend if you are coming....maybe one more weekend but that's about it. Asheville area will be the best.
