[Postponed]Please Help In The S.E.Tennessee Area?

Hey Everyone I know this is short notice, but if anyone could help I could really used it here, Deborah(my wife) and myself are asked to help out again this year to get the Biker Community involved in Samaritan'sPurse/OperationChristmasChild [ http://www.samaritanspurse.org/index..._Aug09_EE_IE6/ ]. Deborah's work is one of the collection sites in the Cleveland,Tn. area, and what we have been doing is, having a bike ride(like a toy run) and car show at LifeCare/GardenPlaza in Cleveland. What we need is, anyone that can help support this to fill a shoe box with gifts (small toys, educational supplies, Hygiene items, other items) or what ever you want, as long as it doesn't spill or break and isn't Racial, Political, or War Related since some of these gifts will be given world wide, and mark if, it is for a Boy or Girl and their age 2-4, 5-9, or10-14 and bring it, on your bikes on Oct.10,2009(rain date the next Sat.) and join us in helping to warm the heart of a boy or girl who other wise, will probably not get to experience something most take for granted. I will post more details soon.

Thanks Everyone, Mike thats cool the plan so far is to meet up at the parking lot of LivingWordChurch (the old PathwayBookstore) Oct.10 at 10:30am with kickstands up at 11:00am for the ride, I'll post more soon about the details. Dick on their web site [ http://www.samaritanspurse.org/index..._Aug09_EE_IE6/ ] there is a place to make monetary donations, I think there is a link under "Ways To Help", heck that would be awesome for some to donate from KawaNOW, Franklin Graham the founder of Samaritan'sPurse is the son of well known Billy Graham, who also rides, the plan is to have him (Franklin Graham) to lead a ride with us, unfortunately he couldn't make it this year, hopefully he can next. Coach thats a long ride up, but there again I've rode for ALOT less a reason! We have several local schools that are p/u sites maybe your boys could help you get a whole trailer load to put behind that bike of yours! (hehe)

Goose, OK....I'm confused. Went into the website to make a donation. Screen came up with number of boxes I wanted and number of 7.00 donations.

I just wanted to make a straight $$$ donation. Is there an extra dollar amount charge for number of boxes?
Or should I just mail you a check?

Hey Dick, Never did a donation like this but I went to the site and highlighted the "Ways To Help" and then went to "EZ Give" and I think that it gives you an option to either have them send you a box to put your donation in or to give an on line donation? Goose
