2010 Rally Dates

Trip is asking for dates for next year's rally because he wants to attend as many as possible...lucky dog!

I have submitted June 17-20 as our date because it is first come, first served on the dates. He does not want them overlapping.

With over a year to plan, I think we should be able to get this all done and tied up for these dates.

If you have another suggestion, please let me know.

It looks like we are down to two areas for the rally.

Have you considered the rainy season?

Florida is May or June. What about the other areas?

I know a song that says "It never rains in California", so I guess we will probably experience some rain cause we ain't gonna be in California.

June in this area can be either rainy or dry, by this area I mean the mountains in North Georgia, Tenn, North Carolina, and Virgina. We don't get the evening showers like Florida, but thunder storms are posible but it should be comfortable temps mid 80's day to mid 60's nighttime.

If it's June and it's not Southern California, pack the rain gear. The time of the year to go is the time we went to Helen for nice weather, but that is a difficult time for some. June in the Southeast is hot and wet so be prepared.

Rain?!... We were lucky in Helen. It' been raining here for almost 2 weeks. Remember in Elkins, WV last year, it rained. Here in the Shenandoah Valley, the evening showers pop up quick.

Ya'll don't realize how luckly we were with the weather in Helen. The two weekends before and after were lousy!
Or maybe goose is better than I thought...

Weather is always a crap shoot.
If the June dates are locked in, fine with me.... I say go for it....but put goose in charge of weather again!!
