Almost lost my Nomad today

The wife and I were out enjoying the colors today when I came around a corner and had the tires begin to slide out from under me. The road we were on is a side road that does not get a lot of traffic. We came around the corner and there was some loose stone. Not a good way to take a corner.

Fortunately, I was able to save it! But it was quite the pucker moment!!!! The wife was a bit uncomfortable for the rest of the ride. Just a reminder that you never know what is in the road this time of year. Ride defensively and be safe!!!
