I Second "Be wary of scion0"

Not to disrespect a long time member of this forum or anyone else but I also found it disrespectful when this guy did not even answer my messages and email about the availability of the Mustang seat. I quite understand if someone beat me to it (even though I sent my email at 8:00 AM the day after he announced he had one on sale so I question how this happened). But so be it maybe he found someone he knows he rather sell it to. That's fine. Again, this might be an unpopular post because this is a long time member but it seems the least someone can expect when he answers an ad is the courtesy of a response. And to close the prior thread down just seems wrong if we all respect free speech. Just my 2 cents.

As was said in the other thread, you didn't lose any money so let it go. If I'm selling something and decide to pull the ad, that's my decision. As long as money hasn't been exchanged, it's all good.

He should at least have given the courtesy of responding whatever the case may be on whether it sold or not to everyone that responded.

Seriously?... this is what you have to complain about?

Geez.... Get over it... you didn't send any money and were not ripped-off.

The guy said he didn't handle it well and apologized. But the fact remains NO ONE was ripped-off. So, again... you guys need to get over it and worry about more important issues...

I'm not to much of a worrier Greg so I don't know what to fret about.
Could you give me some examples of important things to worry about?

If Greg will permit me....

Maybe you could worry what someone in Croatia has painted on his saddlebag.

Maybe you could worry about the hazards of riding a motorcycle with a car tire on the rear?

Maybe you could worry about motorcycles with loud pipes.

Should I keep going?

Ok I bought the Mustang Seat he was great to deal with we pm'd back and forward for a day and I payed he shipped and it arrived as good as promised. If I do not like it the both of you who wanted it can get in a bidding war with me to buy it but I am putting it on my bike and hope it cures my sore tailbone.

Question Wow, what is it?

Wow, ErilFlynn! I don't see any PMs from you? And if you sent them any other way, I have not seen them.

Remember, I bought a new HD and it has been the coolest here in the area in a long time. I have been riding the bike often. I just got online tonight.

Also, there are many many people of this forum. I know I won't sell anything else here. TOO MUCH DRAMA for me. I will stick to the local stuff.

Thanks again Greg and those who saw this for what it was, and nothing more.

ErilFlynn, it reminds me of a scene in an old movie called Song of the South, where Brer Rabbit said hello to someone and they did not answer and he went all kinds of unglued rather than just walking on.

Anyway, everyone have a good one.

Never got the message. If it is not a PM, I may not find the message, let alone, answer it.

I don't recall the message. Did you PM me? I will go back and look for it.

By the way, "this guy" has a name. You can call me Mike.

I went back three weeks in my PMs and don't see one from you.

Thumbs Up Pls Move this thread to where it needs to go

Mr Admin, please move this to where it needs to go.

Maybe you can start a "Be Wary Of" Section.

Not worried about that. Just think it is pretty disgusting.

Not worried about that either. It is your decision and does not matter to me if you want to ride that way. I choose not to.

Maybe you could worry about motorcycles with loud pipes.

This does effect me. As I have said many times, if we don't regulate ourselves, the government will do it for us. but you just keep on pissing off the public who complain about the noise. If you notice there are many cities and towns who now have noise ordinances. We keep it up and motorcycles will not be welcome in some towns. But don't worry.

Should I keep going?

Mike's good people. I PM'ed him about a luggage rack he had posted and it had already sold. For the life of me I just can't muster the energy to start a thread pisssin' and moanin' about it. Give it and him a break... Geezzz!

Don't quit selling on here Mike. To say these two are the minority on the forum would be a huge understatement.
