This win 98 se is dying, and the monitor is on it's way out as well, but I will try to see this.

I picked up a used xp tower, and am searching new monitors as I type... I hope that xp tower works..

Well well well the vidio loaded That rig makes a dandy door opener don't it? I could use one of those..

What is the mw2 tawkin' I take it that mw2 is a game, so I was confused. I have 0 gun games for the pc.

300 rpm means you need 300 targets.. 12 boxs of shells a go, would break my budget too at a single session. I always like it best when a guy with a machine gun letts me fire a few..and i don't get to pay fer it...

Now that don't happen much, but it has happened.

I would love to practice on pelicans here in Idaho. Could reduce a raft of a few hundred fish eaters to a pile of feathers in short order.

Yes, we have pelicans in Idaho. Thousands of em.

We could use one of them here with our seagull population, the beaches at lake Ontario are infested with them, as well as most bodies of water here.

there are two islands on reservoirs in oposite directions from my house about 50 miles distant to each that hold thousands of pairs of nesting pelicans. They eat a LOT of cutthroat trout.

Now that just doesn't seem to make much sense of the DNR to spend money, time, and resources to stock cutthroat... only to have the Pelicans eat them.

I suspect there is some "bleeding-heart; don't murder the birds" group there that won't allow any shooting of the Pelicans.

Maybe we should tax them extra for the trout-stocking required for what the Pelicans eat. Maybe then... they'll shut-up... but then again, probably not. I think those types would actually pay with a smile! Fools they are...

You are right Greg. The USFWS 'manages' pelicans and they are protected under a migratory marine animal treaty. There is no consensus in the ranks of the IDF&G about those white beasties. The USFWS told a friend who owns a fish farm that he could shoot all of the pelicans he wanted at "$25,000 a copy". Lots of blue haired old ladies here think they are majestic and beautiful birds and still need protected.

Apparently a few of them get run over accidentaly by jet powered river boats. The pelicans, not the blue haired old ladies.

They wanted to clean up the seagulls here by breaking the eggs during nesting time a few years ago. All the bleeding hearts cried out and it has never happened. There is a beach where most of the seagulls nest and it would have been a quick way to reduce the population.
