I’m saddened to hear that your time has come to hang up the chaps. I often think back to the day I purchased my Nomad and finding KawaNOW a couple of weeks later. That was the beginning of an awesome adventure that will forever remain in our hearts. If all of this wouldn’t have transpired, Darlene and I would have never met and enjoyed the rides with all of the great people that we now call our friends. We won’t ever forget this experience. Thanks for always being the leader that you are. Keep in touch and don’t forget us. God bless.

Breaks my heart to hear this! I had hoped to have one more chance (without the rain) to ride the Black Hills with you, and maybe even get you into the Big Horns and Bear Tooth Highway. Thanks for all you did for starting KAWANOW, it made it possible for Ruth and I to make friends literally from coast to coast and in Canada.

But, who knows, maybe you'll make the Corvette Rally in Spearfish. This year it is from July 17 through the 19th.

First, a big THANK YOU, for starting this forum. You brought so many people together, doing something we all loved to do. This is a great acomplishment. I know this is/was a tough decision, not made lightly. I too, have spent many hours thinking of moving to other interests. So far I just can't make myself do it. Every time I throw a leg over the saddle, I think of the great times we have when we all get together.
I have been blessed to have met so many wonderfull people I consider great friends. I plan to keep riding for now, knowing my time is coming soon. Gina and I considered moving to a trike, we even rode a few but for some reason the excitement just isn't there like it used to be. Getting older really sucks.
Keep in touch, let us know how everything works out. Again THANKS for all you've done, for all of us.
