Stated in ad;
This kit provides an 8.5 H.P. increase through the use of a K&N performance Air Filter.

I have a question, how in hell does a K&N air filter increase horse power by 8.5 %.

Is it worth it? Any real performance benefits? Opinions?

A K&N in the stock location would not add an 8.5% H.P increase but a K&N combined with a larger air intake might ?

The wording in their ad is deceptive ?

The 1700's are starved for air. Try taking off your stock air cover on the right side (rear brake side) and go for a short ride. You should notice a big difference in performance.

I presume you do not have any modifications to your air intake at the moment ?

Because we have very few " Truth in Selling Laws " in the U.S. No-one is going to take the time to dispute it. So 10 guys say, "that's BS" and 3 guys say, "Wow, I want one". All is fair in love , war and selling merchandise.

Brandy New Bike. No mods yet. More air makes sense.

Ray's throttle mod takes care of the throttle lag/delay inherent with the Vulcans
