I am sure some that we don't know might have been flooded. For the most part the ones we know seem to be safe, at least so far. I pray it continues that way.

We shouldn't have any problems at my home but my workplace may be a different story. It is on the western side of Terrebonne Parish that will suffer flooding. We have everything in place to fight the water but we can only do so much. The strong north winds we have been having are helping. They have lowered the river crest projections a little as of today. Thanks for your concern. We will stay out of harms way.

So far, so good where I am. The only worry here is the levees holding for the next month or so while the river is at record levels. They have never been under this much pressure for that long. They are religiously inspecting the levees for weak spots to be proactive and not reactive. Thanks for your concerns.
