New Vaq mods

A few bits and bobs over the last few weeks :

Denalli Soundbomb Split horn.
Kenwood KAC-M3004 amp/ Polk 5.25" bridged to 150W
Garage remote connected to CB talk button and bike battery.
Kuryakyn dual usb charger on handlebar.
Red Halo light for fog lamps.
Apart from usb charger and fog lamp switch, all others connected to a 4 way blade fuse block behind radiator overflow bottle.
Mean Streak side stand.
Hope this motivates someone to get stuck in
Cheers, Pete.

Nice work... I simply wired my (soldered always on & 12v) garage door remote into the high-beam circuit... Flash of the high-beam & up / down goes the door.

The thought that it's constantly transmitting when on high beam also amuses me, although I'm yet to see any random garage doors go up as I pass them by.

I had air-horns up under the tank on my 800, but for both the Nomad and the Voyager I've settled on very loud dual car horns from an auto-dismantler for no more than about $10 the pair. For the Voyager, it's one each side, in the lowers, on a bracket off the highway bars.

That would be gold to see a few doors go up as you pass
Thought about the double disc's in a very nice anodised red scheme(Ebay I think) but just couldn't figure out a way to make a bracket work for them.
$10...nice one peg
Pete.
