Ah man, the constipation has been brutal. It is day number 4 and I've been eating laxatives like they are candy with no "movement" of any kind. I better have a plumber on standby when I do finally go.
This really sucks.

If you want to spend the day in the bathroom get some of that stuff that you drink before going for a colonoscopy and drink it. It will keep you going for the day. Any drug store would have it and it's non prescription. The only problem is there's no shut off. You just keep going until there's nothing left.

Martin I just read this.
Some people become constipated from the pain medications they take after gallbladder surgery. Eating a diet that is rich in fiber — beans, bran, whole grains, fruit, and vegetables — can help prevent and perhaps relieve constipation. Your surgeon may prescribe a stool softener to help you.

A bottle of WHO HIT JOHN, and a good pull through with a pine tree should do it
