Personally I prefer Wompus' jokes to the ...

I will stop there before I say too much and end up on the same shit list.

But I don't really care.

Quite frankly, it was getting out of hand to see most of the new posts were nothing more than viral email crap posted on this forum.

I say keep that kind of crap on your email list and off of this site.

There... I said it. I assume there are others that would agree.

This is really bothering me.

Since when do we let two members dislike of his whitney houston posts muzzle one of our own.

If you don't like his posts then ignore them, but don't keep them from those who do enjoy them.

Oh well, I'll probably end up on the Wompus list.

I've held my tongue on this because I'm new here, but I have to agree with MAS T.
Compared to other Kawi forums I visit, the VBA forum, with the jokes, political posts and the jabs have given this forum some color that the others lack. The interaction, personality, and camaraderie makes me want to stay, AND support.

It's like walking into a restaurant and seeing a group at table holding their drinks high, slapping each other on the back and being a little to loud...sure, it annoys some, but it's the table where I'd rather be sitting!

There are a couple of members who's posts I generally ignore, Wompus was never on that list.

My "Wompus list" has been more like; "Hey Honey want to read another one from Wompus? " She usually says, "Sure!" because she likes his jokes too.

Nobody said the heartless inconsiderate had to stop posting his opinion.
He was just asked to stop posting ridiculous viral emails 15 hours a day.
If he wants to stop posting altogether , that's even better as far as I am concerned.
The main problem is every post someone makes shows up on the new post section.
Yeah, I know, if you don't want to read them don't click on them.
Just a heads up Mas and Toe, there are more than 2 members here who don't like the way he posts or his rude ridiculing attitude.
I think if you took a poll you would see there are more members who do not enjoy his post than do enjoy his posts.
Just my opinion, your obviously will vary
Hey, I'm just sayin' ...................

I don't think Trip would let it happen and I'm not really suggesting it.

I'd be at the table with ToeJam getting TC to blush half way across the room.

I don't tolerate racism -- period, and "his" posts were consistently racist. There are more than just "two" members offended by them, so you need to know the group a bit more than you appear to.

If you would have read more posts you would realize the Whitney Houston post wasn't about Whitney Houston -- it was his way of being a racist. You just had to know how his mind worked to understand.

Regarding racist remarks and undertones consistently posted by this "member"... there are a lot of people who come to VBA for information that may be of multiple races (other than white) that would be offended -- period. Kawasaki has people that monitor this site that I happen to know are black... and I am sure they don't like to see those posts. Overall, that kind of crap needs to be stopped at once and not allowed. It isn't on any other respectable site.

Last but not least... posting viral emails on this site is annoying. That crap should just be kept on your own computer, not on a forum. Besides, it was apparent he was trying to get his post-count up so he looked like he was somebody.

Maybe you will notice that most of the posts regarding stopping these posts was supported by more members here than not. So far sir... you and Wompus are sitting at a lonely table.

Note to self. Do not enter a building where Mark and ToeJam are sitting at the same table.
