Took me about a month but given that its a free site and probably done on his own time I didn't worry.

There are 2 steps of the VBA
1) join the forum.
2) become a member of the VBA.

Becoming a member with an assigned membership # allows you to requests
discounts from those that advertise on the site. I believe Reckless offers 10 %.
