Triking a Nomad

Hi gang. It's been quite some time since I've been on the forum, having sold my 2007 1600 Nomad a couple of years ago. I do miss the bike but sold it to a close friend.

The issue is that my friend Mike had two strokes last year and can no longer ride. He has three Nomads, two at his home in St Marys, GA and the one he bought from me here in Washington. Mike was an avid cross country rider but his days on two wheels are over. He doesn't want to sell the Nomad so I suggested turning it into a trike. He lives way back in the woods though and would need a reverse to back it out of his shop onto the gravel parking area.

I saw a video on YouTube of a Nomad trike with a reverse, that appeared to be electric. The vid gave no information. So does anyone have a Nomad trike or know anything about a reverse.

Mike is a great mechanic, having build hot rods, and could do the work himself. He doesn't walk well yet but is getting the feeling back in his hand and arm.

Thanks much for the link. I just sent them a message inquiring about a reverse or reverse kit. Nice trikes too.

They are not really a trike in the true sense of the meaning (3 wheels) but they work for some people who want to continue riding with out a "proper" trike and the expense involved with that.

Just me but, reverse is for rich people. I would do anything to continue riding, which for me would include thinking about where and how I park, EVERY TIME. but it is something I will live with just to keep riding.
Like I said that is just Me.
