Just Saying Hey
Hi Folks. Recently bought a 07 Nomad 1600 at the Harley store that was a trade in. It has 11k on it and appears that it has been well cared for. It's the ebony and gold paint. Not crazy about the color, but at 11k mi. it seems to be a great bike. Only problem is I am sitting here with a broken ankle, wishing I could ride it...it's 70's and sunny. Waaa! Thanks

Very cool. Thanks for the greets. So anyway, bought HD bagger muffs Saturday to replace the VH duals. Read and got that from Gadget. Enjoy the peace and quiet. Also have a HD coming up to a 1,200 cam repair. Sound familiar? So... can't wait to enjoy shaft drive, water cooled ride. Last Kawi was a 750 2cylinder in the 80's. My wife and I enjoy riding. Looking fwd to this forum. Thanks

Welcome from Oklahoma. You bought a bike and you have a broken ankle... Now that dedication. On the HD mufflers you bought make sure they are both mufflers before you put them on. Some of the 2000 models had 1 muffler and 1 resonator. Don't ask me how I know.

Welcome from Washington state.
We lived in Va Beach for 11 years or more with both my kids graduating from Princess Ann High. Will be visiting in May. I also just bought an 07 after many years of Harleys and love it. Great bike. And most bummer on the broken ankle. You're supposed to do that in January when it's snowing.
