It is strange to me to read some of the threads and see folks coming to Gruene, Wimberly, such. We only live about 4 miles from Gruene and lots of you are there more often than us. We rode the Willow City Loop last weekend and there are not an explosion of wild flowers. I think it was too dry this last year. There are more bluebonnets along the edges of the roads and freeways not far off of I-35. We took the 99 out for a putt on friday and it so dry there just isn't a big crop of flowers this year.
