The Venture is way under powered in my opinion,I'll keep my Nomad

I had a '99 Venture and loved the bike but now would say YES it was underpowered.

I hope he sold it for 15,000. That would mean the $18,000 I bought my 2008 for was a good deal after all. A couple of Harley guys told me that I spent too much, but they don't understand that came with the lots of extras like hard bags, crash bars, extra padded pillon and back rest, rear floor boards, lowers, and a tall windshield, and special installed Bridgstone Bias Ply tires and more..... Seemed like a good deal to me. The Harley guys seemed to think so once we added all that up.
