It bothers me when they advertise standard equipment items as if they are "extras", such as engine guards, floorboards and hard bags.

It comes with tires! A fuel tank and handlebars!

You forgot the passenger backrest and it has 5 speeds too.

If a guy is lookin for a pre 09 with low miles that is not a bad starting price.
I paid 7K for my 08 with 12,000 miles.

I got slightly less than that for mine 3 and half years ago. He's $1000 too high for sure. If I was buying it, I'd want the original exhaust and I'd ditch the PCIII.
