Sena for Half Helmet

Anyone using a Sena for a half helmet? If so how do you like it?

I have one. Tried it a couple of times but don't use it. Sometimes it syncs with the TomTom and other times it doesn't. It has to have a direct line of sight to the GPS if that's what you plan on using it with.

If it's the same one I have in the link above, I have a buddy that is looking for one. PM me if it is and you want to sell it. Want it for communication with other riders and to answer my phone if it rings.

Sorry I was wrong. Just checked. It's a Cardo Scala Rider not the Sena.

I don't need to be that connected when riding. When I see these idiots talking into their phone like a star trek communicator when driving, I have to wonder what they did before there were cell phones and WTF is so important that they have to talk to someone on the phone when driving. We're not talking 1 minute conversations to stop and get milk either.

I hear ya.
I have a Scala communication system to talk bike to bike with Cindy.
But talking on the phone in the truck or car is not necessary.

Dave i have a sena and use it with a 3/4 helmet. I talked to Cliff on the way to Idaho and to Teri on her half helmet and it works great for intercom and phone. If you have tunes on your phone it does that well too.

I didn't think he was asking about peoples' opinion of the helmet.

That's Ok, to each his own. I have a full face helmet too, Only wear that when it's really cold or am riding one of my kz's without a windshield.

Funny you should say that.
I have seen you correct peoples grammar when they were not asking
