DavidJMurphy ~ Tough Time At Sea
Received this note from Dave,
some of you met him at the Rally in N.H. in August. If you could send him some prayers, I'm sure he would appreciate it. The boat I was on sank, and presently I'm in the hospital. Three hours in the water, hypothermia, lungs partly filled with salt water, cracked vertebrae in my neck and tons of bruising . Will get out tomorrow. I didn't, think I was going to make this one. It's #3. Can't see what I am typing. Just got off with the clothes on my back and a survival suit, lost everything even my glasses. Dave

Good Grief Man! I've had some pretty rough days when I wolfed down a scorching hot slice of pizza and the cheese stuck to the top of my mouth and blistered it, running over a deer or two with a motorbike and getting cussed out or dodgeing knife fights with the ol' lady, but geez!
Walk it off, you'll heal up. Jesus musta been watching you anyway. I'm sure he's at the point of arching an eye brow when I ask for something, so I wont antagonize him and mess things up for you.

Hey Dave isn't it a little cold to be swimming. I know you Canadians like the cold but that's ridiculous. Heal well man. Glad you're alive.

He is the quiet one, grey hair with a moustache, was in the cabin beside ours in N.H. That's him, the pretty one in the center, talking to Mary..... not Norm, he's not so pretty

All are safe.
Here is an article about the adventure that Dave sent to me. Given that the name of the vessel is Poseidon Princess, I'm not sure I would have boarded her. Funny how the family made it into the life boat. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-s...otia-1.2939152

Dave, praise to God you made it out of there. Your story sounds really scary. Glad you made it. Praying.
