Waving Where's the SC group? Have you disbanded?

Haven't heard from any of you guys. Are you scared of cold weather? Too old to ride? What's the deal? I have been riding to work every day and my old Nomad is worn out with over 91,000 miles. Hmmmm.... Guess our group riders are only fair weather riders.

I washed, waxed, and covered mine three weeks ago. The weather down here has been great for riding but better for deer hunting. We need to get together on the Gulf Coast and make a weekend out of it.

I think we're all still here. Just everyone is busy. I'll be riding in a Christmas parade tomorrow evening with the Blue Knights.

I haven't made it down to LaPorte yet Mike. Sulzer is waiting on turbine blades to be delivered before finishing up on the rotor. Probably won't be until after the 1st of January before they will be ready to bunker balance the unit. I'll be sure to give you guys a call for us to meet for dinner somewhere in the area. Either at the Battleship or at Landry's at the Boardwalk. We'll try to get LW and his family to meet up with us if he isn't working. Looking forward to it.

Well just to check in: Neither Liz nor my self have done much riding since we got home from Antlers. Finished working on the son's house and then put new windows in ours and replaced some siding. Then like Mitch deer season took up most my time and then I had a spell with my back. The bikes are covered in the garage. I intend to uncover them this week, start them up for a good battery charge and put them back to bed for a little while longer. We have ice on our road or I would just take them out for a spin. Making plans for a few changes to my bike by spring, car tire, fuel processor, air kit, etc. I have 2 rooms in the house to remodel after Christmas and then hopefully get back into the motorcycle mind set.

Good to hear from you Jim. I've noticed you haven't been on the forum much.
You sound like me. There always something getting worked on somewhere.
With my two daughters buying houses I have all the free work I can handle.

I took my bike out for a spin sunday, but had to cover it again today. Rain today and snow tomarrow. Jim will be working on the bedroom very soon, got to get this done before next spring. I have to fix cracks in the sheet rock and paint the bedroom, living room and our bedroom before riding season next spring.

Took the cover off of mine day before yesterday and rode every bit of 13 miles. It was great to get out on 2 wheels again after over a month. If I don't hunt tomorrow I plan on riding. Will be clear and cold.
