I bought the material to make my own like this one time. My goal was to also adjust the speed markings to match the OE sized tires.

Alas, no follow through

After I did my Aero Speedo, my neighbor did all his gauges on his Harley, looked great!

Very nice! How was getting the speedo apart and the pointer off/on? I had a heck of a time getting the crimped case open on my Honda Shadow.

Lights up fine at night, only thing I don't like it the neuteral and FI lights shine through the material so they are large square lights when on. Very small issue though.

Here are the instructions, took about 20 minutes.

That looks AWESOME, Jesse!!! Nice job and nice design!! I'll be ordering one before too long. How long did it take to go through the ordering process?

He had the design done in two days, shipped it on the third day. Very fast for custom work.

I have received my gauge and am taking the opportunity to do a bit of customizing around the tank. I will post pics when done.

The install was really easy. Hardest parts were getting the wiring harness connectors apart (never been cracked and tight space) and getting the needle off of its post (never been lifted and delicate part).

a trick for getting the needle off would be to use a fork. Slip the tongs of the fork under the needle and slowly roll the fork, using it to smoothly pry and lift the needle up.

Worked well when I did my Shadow.
