Talimena Ride/Rally

Well we are beginning to plan the Talimena ride for this year, and hoping to make it better than the last. We will probably move the event to the town of Talihina right at the base of the trail, some new motels and different places to eat. We have found some more beautiful roads to ride, and the move to Talihina will put us closer to them. Please let us know how we can make this event better for you and what you would like to do. Due to the unseasonably cold weather we had last year we are asking the question of what month and then we will set the dates. When we get the month set I will look and see if there are any events going on at that time that maybe you all would like to attend and post them here. Looking forward to another great ride this year, hope you all can make it.

I'll be there whenever it is! I don't care about weather, etc. That's why I have such a large selection of rider gear. :)

I voted September. I would try to be there any time in September, but the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th would work well for Annette and I.

Cheryl and I plan to be there whenever it is. We regretted having to leave early last year.

I voted September as well and the second half would probably work best for Ann and I. That would allow a little time for the new school year to get settled and make it easier for her to take time off. I really enjoyed meeting all of you guys last year and certainly wouldn't mind a bit warmer trip down from KC.

I voted October. September is the peak month of hurricane season and an active season is predicted for this year. Things usually start tapering off in October. But, I'll go along with either. The last week of September would probably be a little better than the first half of the month.

One vote for September. I'm really hoping Ann and I can make it this year (ya'll don't mind a little 900 tagging along do you?). I'm pretty certain I saw the group from two years ago - our schedules didn't quite mesh up. Hoping to meet some of you guys this year!

Jim and I would be interested in going, but we have reservations for the VROC rally in Sept. the Dates are 15th thru 19th in Eureka Springs, first part of October would be better for us..
